102-year-old WWII Vet and BST Resident Experienced Flight of a Lifetime in Vintage Aircraft

102-year-old Retired Air Force Colonel Gerry Schriever, along with eight other veterans and residents of Blue Skies of Texas, will receive dream flights in a 1940’s Boeing Stearman biplane on Thursday, April 23 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at San Antonio’s Stinson Municipal Airport, 8535 Mission Rd. The flights are provided by the Ageless Aviation Dreams Foundation (AADF), a non-profit organization dedicated to honoring seniors and United States military veterans living in long-term care communities.Click here to read more.
