We strive for a balanced length of stay for recuperation without relapse.
Nothing is better than home, but when getting there requires a stay in short-term rehabilitation, you’ll find that our spacious and sunny living areas are almost as comfortable as home. And while you’re with us, our friendly and dedicated staff will work to get you back home as soon as possible.
Prehab is a plan of therapeutic exercises prior to undergoing a surgical procedure with the goal of improving your strength and endurance to the greatest degree possible prior to surgery to maximize post-operative rehabilitation.

Those who need short-term rehab want to recover and return to their routines of daily living as quickly as possible. So short-term rehab takes advantage of the high-level, comprehensive care the skilled nursing – or long-term care – setting provides.
Recovery rates vary from individual to individual. Blue Skies maintains an average 19-day stay – short enough to comfortably challenge the person to assume responsibility for their continuing recovery, and long enough to ensure there’ll be no relapse.
Our rehab services are available to both Blue Skies residents and non-residents like! Through direct admission, the greater community can benefit from our experienced rehabilitation team and facilities.
